The Katonah Village Library now offers access to free music downloads from the Sony Music catalog. Under the terms of an agreement with Freegal Music Service, registered card holders of the library can download a select number of Sony Music tracks in the MP3 format. The library will underwrite the purchase of the music - there is no cost to the card holder. Since this is our first effort at providing this service, and our funds are limited, we are currently restricting the number of downloads to three per week for each library card holder. The library is also restricted to a cumulative number of downloads per month. In the event that the library exceeds its download budget for the month, users will be able to add their music selection to a “wishlist” to be downloaded when available.

    To access Freegal, simply click the link above and enter your library card number and PIN. This service is only available to Katonah Village Library card holders. If you have fines of $25 or more, your card will not be able to access this service.
