The Library hosts three annual community events to raise important funds for its ongoing operation and programs:
In the spring, the Library hosts its Spring Into Summer Cocktail Party and Silent Auction on the Garden level. Friends and neighbors gather over wine, craft beer, and savory bites to toast the beginning of the summer season. There are raffles and a silent auction. If you are interested in donating items or services to help raise money for the Library at the Spring Into Summer event, please contact Mary Kane, Director, via email or at 914-232-3508.
October brings the Library’s famous Book Sale. Held over a one-week period and going strong for over 40 years, the Book Sale is one of Upper Westchester County’s largest and most popular used book sale events. Please visit our Book Sale page to learn more about donating to the book sale and volunteer opportunities.
The first Saturday in November brings another community favorite, the Library’s Harvest Table event. Guests enjoy an elegant and local harvest menu, craft beer, wine and signature libations, a live band, as well as a fabulous live auction and popular raffle basket drawing. Businesses or individuals who are interested in becoming event sponsors or donating auction or other needed items should contact Mary Kane, Director, via email or at 914-232-3508.
