Dirt Rich focuses on carbon draw down: the viable solution for reversing effects of global warming in a timely manner.Through regenerative agricultural practices, reforestation of abandoned land, protection and restoration of carbon rich wetlands and keystone species, we can return our atmosphere to safe levels of carbon while growing soil, our most precious resource.
The screening will be accompanied by a panel discussion. Panelists include Dan Kittredge, Founder and Executive Director of the Bionutrient Food Association. Dan has been an organic farmer since childhood. His experience managing organic farms and developing sustainable agriculture techniques has connected him to farmers in Central America, Russia, India and the U.S. Dan lives in Central Massachusetts with his wife and three children on their 40 acre farm.
This event is open to the public on the accessible lower level of the library. $10 donation|$5 students
