Stories without Borders: Jen Munro, When Myth and Reality Collide
March 24 @ 4:00 pm
Sometimes, myth shapes reality, and sometimes reality produces a new myth. Either way, the resulting stories resonate with a deep and abiding truth. Jennifer’s original stories spring from this ancient well but speak to the here and now.
Acclaimed storyteller Jennifer Munro creates original stories that will transport you to another time and place. Her characters resonate with the frailty and courage of the human condition; you’ll find yourself cheering for them one moment and weeping the next. Jennifer has performed at major festivals across the nation, most notably the National Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee, and the Timpanogos Festival,
Utah. She has produced two Storytelling World award-winning CDs; her first book Aunty Lily and other Delightfully Perverse Stories, also a Storytelling World winner, was published by Parkhurst Brothers in 2016.
